On 10/21/2007 Memory Walk, the nation's premier fundraiser to help those battling Alzheimer's disease, will be taking place in NY City.

Rosa, my awesome fiancee, has started a team to for anyone that wishes to join us for a nice little walk for a good cause. As you may or may not know, Rosa's mother has Alzheimer's and this is just one way we could all help out. You don't have to pay anything to join and you can join the team and help us raise money as a team or individually. You can also just contribute to the goal if you don't want to walk. Our team goal right now is only set to $200 but if we get a lot of us to join I'm sure we can increase the goal and actually meet it! We know that money is tough for everyone, but the awesome thing is that there is NO minimum amount for anyone to contribute or set the goal to, unlike many other charity walks which have happened in the past.

Hello Folks,

   It's been a while but I have added a new song to those you can listen to on the Evil Adam profile on myspace. The song is called "Touched" and was written specifically for the Ruben Rodgriguez indy horror film 'Sawaru'. I'm not sure when the film will be released but "Touched" is the opening track.

   This song was recorded, mixed, and mastered in a less than 24 hour period featuring Rene Rosa on guitar, vocals, and bass, Jay Curcio on drums and background vocals, and Rob Simmons on background vocals, engineering, and production.

   Since I don't know what's going to happen with the DVD release of this movie yet I'm putting this song up for listening only. Once I know more then I'll make MP3's available for download, either for a super low price, or if I find out a Sountrack CD is going to be available for purchase I'll let you all know about that. Either way, please add this song to your myspace page if you dig it. I think it's one of the best songs to ever fall under the name of Evil Adam and just love how it came out.

It's so hard to let someone go. It so damn hard to wait for so long for bad news, only expecting the worse, hoping for the best, but then finding out that you can only get what you expect in the end.

It's amazing that so many people that are so great and fantastic could doubt their worth while millions of pieces of shit go through life blissfully unaware of how horrible they really are. You would think that our society would allow for all the cream to rise to the top with all the unwanted refuse and chaff to stay at the bottom, but unfortunately, that is not the case.

What is one human's worth? The answer does not exist. We are all worth so much to those who love us and who care about us, however, sometimes we just seem worthless to ourselves. Everyone goes through this from time to time, but usually we allow those around us to pick us back up and set us right and ready.

With so many problems, drama, and downfalls that we all go through in life we have to keep those who are capable of supporting us near. Your loves, likes, friends, families, and anyone else that is a positive force in your life needs to know that you feel that about them.

It's tough to think that at some point all we are going to have of each other are memories, but it is the sad, shocking, and horribly inevitable truth. I don't want to have to spend my life remembering people that should have been kept nearer. I also don't want to feel like I have to chase after those I care about. Friendship and family should never go through phases. You don't have to see everyone everyday but you can at least make an effort to stay in regular contact with those you care about.

When you ask someone how they are doing, how many times do you really mean it? Always mean it. It's always important.

I love all of my friends, I love my family, I love Rosa, and hell, there are even people that I have never met and only talk to online that I would be bothered by something happening to them. I've developed a reputation by some to be insensitive but I can tell you right now I never have been. I've just always been blunt, but the truth is I love my people. I'd do just about anything to protect those that I love, and even some of those that I don't.

It's easy to fall in and out of contact with people, and I know that when my life has become rushed and insane that I've been a little hard to get on the phone, but in truth M-F I always check my e-mail from work on g-mail, I get on myspace frequently, and I respond to txt messages to my phone. I'm not hard to contact or find. Others are not quite so easy to contact, and that's when it becomes tough to keep up with the rest of the world. Some one like me, well no, you don't have to chase after or reach out for all the time, just let me know you're doing ok from time to time and I'm sure we'll be hanging out soon. Other folks, other friends, other family you might have... chase after if you know they don't have a way of being online or being able to be contacted any other way besides the phone.

Chase like their life depends on it, because sometimes, it might.

We all love and miss Martin. The hell that has the past 2.5 weeks is evident of what we think about the man. The lengths that we'd have gone through in an effort to bring him back to us safely would know no bounds but unfortunately we did not have that opportunity and Martin is gone and there is nothing that any of us can do about it now. It so damn tragic and hurtful, and I don't think any of us are going to be able to go through life without constant reminders of this. It's going to be hard to see a lot of movies, listen to a lot of music, and even just hear certain jokes and phrases without thinking about him. I'm here at work thinking that if I just consume myself with being busy I could at least ignore the harsh reality for 8 hours, but this has been impossible to do.

If this was in fact his choice then I hope he made the right one and that whatever caused this decision was absolutely incapable of being helped by his friends, family, and loved ones that have been forced to be without him WAY too soon. This should not have happened but we can't allow things like this to even have a chance of happening ever again.

Everyone means something to someone. Remember that, cherish that, and show that.

Anyone who is friends with Martin Espaillat, if you have seen or talked to him AFTER this past Weds. morning, please let Tanya, myself, or anyone else that you know he is friends with know.

No one has spoken to him since Weds. morning after he left for work and his co-workers said he did not show up and hasn't been seen since. His family has not seen him either and a police report has now been filed.

We're all worried and want to make sure he's ok.

Instead of feeling Evil I'm now feeling: anxious

Before I put them all on e-bay I have TONS of action figures and toys that I am selling. Some are collectable pieces, others are somewhat kiddie (But still damn cool)

If there is ANYTHING you are looking for in particular, please ask me, I might have it! I rather my friends get first chance at something they might need and supply a good home to than give it to some stranger on e-bay that might not appreciate where it's coming from!

Instead of feeling Evil I'm now feeling: disappointed

Here are a few of my realizations about the coming year and further:

1.) 2007 is nigh and STILL we have no goddamn flying cars!

2.) Money never deflates... with all this economical inflation in our lifetime you would expect that eventually you could get a bottle of soda for 10 cents again. I see, however, deflation occurring in certain markets out of desperation: VHS tapes will cost 1 cent, books eventually will go down in price as people do more reading on the internet, and people will become super super poor making prostitutes lower their rates to staggering lows. Crackwhores might start offering "Dollar-Store Discount Days" with a free disease to boot.

3.) Giant robots are very far off from being part of reality. That sucks. This means no Voltron, Megatron, Galvatron, or any other 'tron including TRON you can think of will be seen in the real world anytime soon.

4.) The closest thing we have to a light-saber is a laser used to remove acne.

5.) We use the word "turbo" a lot less now. I guess nobody cares about sounding fast anymore. Everything was TURBO in the 80's.

6.) Bush will EVENTUALLY not be president anymore. FUCK YEAH! With his astounding 30% approval rating it's going to be a long time before we have presidential candidates that are more suited for abortion poster-boy candidates anytime soon. If you can't be the best at something, always be the glaringly worst!

7.) Ice cream is still neither ice nor cream. This will probably never change, and I don't know that it should anyhow. Act like you never read this one.

8.) It's beginning to look a lot LESS like Christmas. Each year Christmas gets less Christmassy, thus by 2010 Christmas will have a surfing motif everywhere. Maybe a NASCAR Santa and BMX Reindeer.... I don't know.

9.) Eventually carnivorous plants will grow larger and start eating vegetarians, thus getting revenge for their brethren.

10.) Cell phone companies will continue to merge until there is only one Cell company left and only one cell phone type you can buy. It will be an implant in your fucking noggin and calls will go direct to your ear drum and vocal chords. you will have what is called "life minutes" and if you die earlier than your plan expires you can roll down the minutes to the next person in your family plan.

11.) Courtney love will allow the release of another Nirvana boxed set, this time containing a whopping 2 tracks of "new" bootleg material that is made to sound less clear than the original bootlegs that you can still find out everywhere online. The rest of the 20 disk set will include 6 versions of smells like teen spirit , heart shaped box, and Polly per disk and will also include every track ever released on every album and boxed set/cd before it. A month later after it sells faster than any boxed set ever an announcement will be made that MORE SONGS HAVE BEEN FOUND and a new boxed set will be made for release in a year.

12.) Bono still hasn't found what he's looking for.

13.) Hermaphrodites will begin to be fertile and actually able to reproduce. By the year 2106 the world will be unisex and the conservative government's staunch position STILL WON'T LET THEM GET MARRIED citing some line in the bible, which they themselves don't even believe in anymore, as the reason. Citizens will revolt, kill everyone in their path, eat human flesh, create a pure anarchist's society and then fuck each other till a gross overpopulation causes plague and famine as the entire human world slowly dies a diseased death. THIS is why we need to get the fuckheads in the Whitehouse out ASAP. Shitty future eh?

14.) People will stop reading blogs written by Puerto Ricans, making this posting have a limited shelf life. Puerto Ricans everywhere will begin to create a new internet graffiti and treat ever webpage like an underpass in Jersey City. You will see NINO everywhere again, especially Myspace and Craig's List.

15.) English will become an even bigger dialect whore than it is already as Spanglish, as well Hindiglish, Polglish, and others will be taught in high school.

16.) Emo will always suck, eventually dying out completely. Girls will get their pants back and boys will start wearing underwear again now that there is more room in their regular fit pants.

17.) Happy Friend Hip Hop Rap will take over as all the Gangsta Rappers will have killed each other out. Will Smith will have a hit album again.

18.) We will find out that Earth is only really Earth 12 and that there are 134324234112390934286 Earths in the multiverse. Egos will deflate.

19.) God will be proven to exist, however, we will find out that God is a Teenager-like Entity named Hobart. Hobart has bad teeth, a lisp, smells like feet, and doesn't wear anti-perspirent. He says 'golly' a lot and eats pickled chicken hearts daily. No body will like him and all religions will be abolished, causing peace through the galaxy, except Earth where everyone will already be dead thanks to the hermaphrodite problem.
